I am sorry that we omitted

to send you copies of the Palestine Bank

Ordinance with the Colonial Office

Confidential despatch of 25th November,

1938, enclosing a memorandum on the

proposed Hong Kong Company's Amending

Ordinance. I now rectify the omission

by sending you all the copies we can

spare (see below).

The phrase used in the third

paragraph on page 5 of the memorandum,

which has apparently misled you, was

condensation perhaps an unfortunate rendering of

FURTHER ACTION.
